Don't be pessimistic

Few here seem to have any interest, I really believe they only want me to post selections hoping I fail to justify their distaste for horse racing. If I fail, I'll admit failure, but I see no reason why I would fail, so they are going to be very disappointed. I had high hopes when this forum opened we could have unbiased discussions concerning the merits of betting the races. Now, I don't think that's going to happen, (too many egos) so sometime in the future I'll probably open a racing forum on my site.

Its true that some posters who disagree with you or anyone else can be vitriolic at times, but that tends to be their style. For example, StevieY and Fezzik are two hosts with completely different personalities. Disagree with StevieY and you will probably get a thoughtful response. Disagree with Fez and he often takes it personally. Yet I have learned much from both.

I think some of the points raised have been legitimate, but unfortunate in their style. Just keep posting and we will see what happens.
