Oh boy-

I almost dare not to go there on this one-- and am SURE fez will have a response. But ill attempt to address your response--

1. "I'm flat betting these selections, because flat betting is the one and only way to determine if anything works. If flat betting doesn't prove profitable to any degree, no amount of mathematical numbers crunching will prove to be profitable either. I have to first prove the races can be beat by flat betting before even considering introducing optimal betting to my selections, else I would be toast."

Fez doesn't agree with you. If i've learned ANYTHING on this site- in the last year- its that the ideas- that you've expressed above- drive Fez crazy. This is the first time that this topic has been brought up on this page-- but i can guarantee you of this much.......
If Fez wasn't convinced already- that you couldn't win betting the horses- this will clinch it for him. (remember gary- im not saying i agree- im just attempting to express how Fez feels. And if im mis-reperesenting how you feel Fez- please let me know-- like i said- im not trying to put words into anyone's mouth-- im just trying to carry on a constructive debate- in your absence)

2. "And no one, not Fezzik, nor anyone else is going to change the way I do what I do concerning horse racing. Not unless it's from someone that at least understands what horse racing is all about, and doesn't jump to illogical conclusions."

I admire your convictions. Fez- would argue however- that he doesnt need to know how good a handicapper that you are- and he doesn't need to know one iota about horse racing- to know that with some of the bets you've made- that you WON'T be successful. The handicapping is irrelevant to him- when you're demonstrating to him- that you don't understand how to effectively combine the handicapping- AND the math of sports betting- in general- you won't be successful- in his mind.

I'll let him take this one- from here- as im tending to simply respond AS FEZ- something i dont want to get in the habit of doing. He's got plenty to say on his own- and he'll say it a lot more clearly- than i am. And im curious- to hear it.
