I think the initial $20 here and $20 there were innocent, but when Weber took substaintal amounts, he not only knew it was wrong, knew Martin expected a payment in kind upon his turning pro, but more importantly and what has been lost in the story is that Webber and all the other players knew THE SOURCE of the money. No, no, no, not a hip mag, rather it was dirty gambling money.

A point of interest for those of you who like unraveling fixes, look back at UofM's 1998-1999 season. In paticular, an NIT loss where UofM was trailing by 8 points with less than 10 seconds left to play, (I btw bet on UofM +10) Well, guess what happened? UofM player intentionally fouled the opp from behind, two frethrows later and UofM failed to cover.

Sure, Martin helped out "Lot of players", even one's not projected to make it to the pros!!! I am not allegin any wrong doing on anyone's part, please let me stress that point in ending.
