Snyder intent on fixing Wildcats' defense
Coach wants his players to learn how to handle distractions better than they did Saturday.
BY JEFFREY PARSON
The Wichita EagleKANSAS CITY, Mo. - After Saturday night's BCA Classic, an intense Kansas State coach Bill Snyder was ready to put his defense and kickoff-coverage units through drills right then and there.
By Sunday morning, though still perturbed by many aspects of beating California 42-28 at Arrowhead Stadium, Snyder was a little more understanding of his players.
"It's tough because you're in an NFL stadium, an NFL locker room, you have a half-naked man running around -- so there are a lot of things that are a little bit different," he said. "So they had to get adjusted to that. But you have to learn to not get distracted by things."
