Update on University of Kentucky

Tommy Cook returned to paractice yesterday. He is responding well to treatment for his sore ankel (bone spurs). Also, Derek Abney was still on the sidelines, but is expected to play against the cards on aug 31. Finally, all around athlete Shane Boyd is expected to be on the field often. Not always as QB, he'll see time at RB, WR as well. Coach brooks said that he's too good of an athlete to sit on the sidelines.

One more note, Jared Lorerzen has gained much of the weight he lost over the summer. He's back up to about 290-300, although he'll be in the program at 285.
