OSU in deep trouble

A friend of mine who used to write for the Dallas Mavs moved to Cleveland to work for the plain dealer. One of the first assignments was to look into allegations that Sophomore sensation Maurice Clarette and OSU were violating NCAA rules. After a brief investigation, the story broke on ESPN about his questionable eligibility. The story is that he has been talking to agents and is not likely to be eligible for the 2003-4 football season; Like most of these things, the timing on when it comes out is everything. It's also possible if he plays, OSU may have to forefit those games when this goes public. Even if the NCAA skips over this, the questions in the will detract from OSU's performance in the first several weeks. Look to FADE Ohio State early in the season and consider the under 10 for the buckeyes this year.
