Guidelines for posting picks

Yes you are welcome to post picks here
The way I learned about Collin Caster, Fezzik, and StevieY is by reading their picks on BJ21.com, and noticing that not only did their analyses make sense, but they picked many more winners than losers. SharpSportsBetting.com will have hosted pages on more sports as their seasons roll around, and I'm looking for capable handicappers to be the hosts. I'm also looking for potential football hosts for next year. My preference is to find future hosts from among visitors to SharpSportsBetting.com. So please do post your picks here, and I sincerely hope that they do well!
We are in the process of establishing guidelines for posting picks. Here are four things that I think are important:
1. Keep all your pick-related posts in one thread for the week. For the next week you can start a new thread.
2. For each team or total you pick, please also list the price at which that pick is available now. You may if you wish post limit orders -- teams to bet only if we can find your price or better, and if we can't find your price then the pick is void.
3. Don't bother telling us about bets you made at prices that are no longer available at the time you post your picks, unless you also want that team or total at a currently-available price. A pick is valid only if readers of your post are able to make that bet after you post it. In other words, we are not interested in the W-L record you are able to achieve on your own bets; rather, we are interested in the W-L record we are able to achieve by following the advice you post.
4. After all the picks in a thread have been decided, post the W-L results for your posted picks for that week. Please also include your W-L results for your posted picks for that sport for the season to date. When you start a new thread for the next week's games, please include a statement of your W-L record for posted picks for that sport for the season to date.
Your suggestions for additional guidelines are welcome.
Personally, I prefer to know the results of picks against neutral prices, rather than against the best prices you were able to find. For example, I will be rating the W-L results of my own NFL picks against the earliest prices listed by Wagerline.com for the Stardust in Las Vegas for the Friday before the games, assuming I post the picks earlier than that. Using last year as a guideline, anyone who shops around to bet my picks will be able to achieve a win percentage about 2.4 percentage points higher than the neutral-price results I will be reporting.
You can report your results against the best prices you have found if you wish, because we can estimate the amount of shopping in your win percentage and adjust it to estimate how your picks would have done against neutral prices. If I were to report my best-price results, for example, you could subtract 2.4 percentage points to estimate my win percentage against neutral prices.
