moving the line

If your laying 220 to win 200 on the fave -7 and then come back to lay 1100 to win 1000 on the dog + 7-1/2, you end up laying 900 to win 780, which comes out to about -115. So the extra 1/2 pt costs you a nickel, not counting the times you catch the seven, and you win 1000.
Paying a nickel for a half point is worth it if the number comes up about 2% of the time. Now, in the NFL, all numbers below 12 come up at least 2% of the time except for 9, which comes up around 1% of the time. I don't have any CFL data, so I can't say which numbers this would work for, but it should be a good deal on the 3 and 7, and probably not a disaster on the others.I think maybe your $200 bet was made in the right place at the right time, like they already had an excess of dog money and your deuce was the "straw that broke the camel's back." Two hundred is awfully small to be the sole cause of a line move.
