Tournament Play?

I've been invited to participate in a one-weekend football tournament. I follow the NFL; less so college games. I'm a novice at sports betting.

As I understand it, the format uses ten college games and ten pro games. I expect around 200 players, but details are hazy. Do you have any tips you can provide based on this limited information?
