preseason second half pointspreads

NYG ahead 20-0 at the half against Jax.
The line opens at Jax -3. Why? Does Jax care to win this game? Do Jax have better second and third string players?

In the regular season this may make sense as NYG will be on prevent defense, and Brunell can chew up some yards, and maybe some points. But in the preseason, no prevent defense and no Brunell in the 2nd H.
