i made lots of money for others, and a good chunk for myself. less than tens of millions, but probably a lot more than Don S thinks. :) anyway, i am retired, and i play poker and bet on sports as a hobby...the money is a way for me to keep score. i don't like giving up $49 as much as I'd shop around to find the lowest price for that $500 baseball card, or the $2000 TV. maybe I'm odd. i am willing to go to long lengths (at lest some consider it long lengths) to make a buck, because its fun, that's how i get a kick out of life. for example, i often find sports arbs online...but i find i have no cash with those guys. i will actually take an hour to go thorugh the process of driving to the bank, depositing the money into my neteller account, coming back home, faxing it to neteller, wait for them to put the money in my account, then transfer it to the books and then place the wagers....maybe as little as two wagers of $500 each, locking in a $20 profit. its not the money, its the exercise. at least until i get bored with it. i am an odd person and i have a wierd life.
