Relating 6, 6.5 and 7 point teasers

On page 271 of Sharp Sports Betting Wong explains that the reason the cover rate for 7 point teasers falls between the rate for 6 pt and 6.5 pt teasers islikely due to a sampling error. He further goes on to say that he expects the cover rate of 7 pt teasers to increase, or the cover rate of 6.5 pt teasers to fall. Keeping this in mind when betting teasers using the data presented, should we not be somewhat conservative on 6.5 pt teasers and somewhat more liberal when betting 7 pt teasers? Has any further work been done in this area? Could we use numbers from the previous year(s) to predict if the cover rate for 7 pt teasers was unusually low for the 1999-2000 season, or if it was the 6.5 pt teasers that over performed?
