Then, you should have made your post on your private NFL page, no?

"Your post in the General Forum making me a +500 dog to outperform Dan Gordon this football season is what prompts me to seek feedback on how we do relative to each other. I'd love to win that bet, even though I will have no money riding on it."

I trust you already read my response to fezzik regarding that post. If not, I repeat: I threw out a number without giving it two minutes' thought. I almost wrote 50 to 1, then thought I should be more realistic. I have no idea whatsoever what the odds should be pitting a man who's picked 57% for 20 years, vs. someone who has virtually no track record to speak of. I wouldn't know how to make such a line, so if you didn't take the +500 with a big grain of salt, that's really not my fault.

This much you can be sure of: you're a sizable underdog. And, that is despite the fact that you have access not only to Las Vegas on a weekly basis, while Dan sits in his den in New York, but also to a coterie of friends and professional handicappers whose opinions on the games you actively solicit. Dan sits in front of his computer, TV set, and newspapers and still will turn out 57% sides in the NFL, followed by 57% sides in the NBA.

And, you won't! :-)
