StevieY has more savvy than any other ten people posting here combined. I also happen to agree with every word he's written.
For example, Dan Gordon picks about 350 NFL and NBA games (combined) per year. He's hit just about 57% lifetime (for the past 20 years). This year, he could be 51% (God forbid!), or 61%.
But, I believe fezzik has often bet $3,000 a game, if not more. Now, 57% of 350 games makes you just about 200-150, or 35 games to the good. At 3 thou a pop, well, whaddya know: 6 figures!
