Six months is a long time to wait for that to come through. Plus Shaq scored 29 in opening night anyway. Plus the Lakers have more outside threats this year than last. Shaq talks a lot, but his statements don't have great predictive value.

But given that +500 is probably the fair price, a small bet might be worthwhile.
