NBA Rules Changes? No more illegal D.

(Hey cool - a sports wagering newbie like me gets the first question)

Here's an obvious question for the upcoming NBA season. Will the elimination of the illegal defense rule drive scoring down enough to make the unders good bets early in the season? It is possible the line-makers will under estimate its effect or do we think those guys will have a pretty good handle on it - not giving much of an advantage?
Can exhibition games give us a good indication, or are they useless?
