Come on now! If Temple can lose by just eight to Florida, and Maryland can LOSE OUTRIGHT to a depleted Arizona team, what makes anyone think Maryland should be able to smoke Temple? I don't see it. The Owls are always vastly underrated and it looks like the Terrapins are overrated once again.

Arizona (+6½) vs.Florida, 9:00 EST
Pick: Arizona

Looks like Lute Olson again has something going in the desert. It's always tough to figure out college basketball teams at the beginning of the season because projections are based moreso on who was lost or who returns rather than who the newcomers are. Arizona impressed enough yesterday to warrant a second look. Florida is darn good, but winning by less than six shouldn't surprise anyone.
