These were some of the futures bets I made this past week in Vegas. Comments appreciated.

Oklahoma 7-1 (now 5-1) - at Coast Properties. They have 15 returning starters, sure they lose Roy Williams and the linebacker dude, but they have an easy schedule. They've got the annual Texas game, they play Colorado at home, and no Nebraska this year. Even if they do play Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship game, Nebraska is estimated to be not as good this year as last year.

Florida State 6-1 at Venetian / Imperial Palace. They have 15 returning starets, and will be huge favorites against most teams. From the Imperial Palace games of the year lines, they'll be a 13 point fave at Maryland, a 21 point fave vs ND, a 6 point fave vs Florida, and only a 1.5 point dog at Miami. Basically their season comes down to 3 games : Miami/Florida/BCS Title game. 6-1 sounds slightly good.

Michigan 25-1 at Imperial Palace (22-1 at Barbary Coast). They have 15 returning starers also (keeping with the theme....last year, Miami had 14, in 2000 OK had 15, in 1999, FSU had 16...seems to be a pattern here). Sure, Michigan has some problems, and they are only expected to win 8.75 games out of 12. But....but....but....they don't have too tough a schedule. Washington in the Big House, a revenge play against their loss in UW last year.....at OSU, a revenge loss last year.....MSU a revenge loss last year.....it looks like its them and OSU for the Big 10 Championship. If Michigan only has 1 loss after defeating OSU, they would have a legit shot at the title game.

I don't think any of these are runaway winners, I think all of them are slightly good by a few percentage points.
