Florida State -27 over Virginia.
Miss. State. +10 over Oregon.

FSU is 27-13-1 ATS at home in ACC competition.
(22-9-1 ATS when laying 20 or more points.)

It appears that UVA has some good young players, but it likely will tough for them on the road at Florida State. Especially since it looks like the Cavaliers still cannot stop the run. T

here's line value compared to the Seminoles season-opener as well. They were laying 23 to Iowa State in an arena where the Cyclones had many more fans. 27 by comparison isn't much when you consider that FSU is at home and UVA figures to be worse than ISU.

Jackie Sherrill is 22-10 ATS as a road dog during his long tenure at MSU, as well as 6-1 ATS as a dog in non-conference games.

Going back to 1985 SEC schools are 89-69-2 ATS as underdogs in
inter-conference matchups (this includes a 10-3 ATS performance by MSU.)

The PAC-10 is a fine conference, but its schools haven't faired particularly well as favorites in non-conference games. 45-62-2 ATS as non-conference double-digit home favorites since 1985, including Oregon's 3-5 ATS slate during Mike Belloti's seven years.
