Colorado St. +115 at Virginia.
No points needed here as veteran CSU squad should handle Groh's inexperienced team. CSU, with the scrambling Van Pelt at QB, a couple of bruisers in RBs Sapp and Childs and a solid O-line should be able to grind out the yards and eat up the clock against very green UVA front 7. I fear things could get ugly if CSU is forced to pass often (Van Pelt was not a solid passer last year, and UVA's strength on D is in the secondary), but everything is in their favor for establishing a solid run game.
Groh is either taking classes in the Lou Holtz School of Self-Degradation, or his Hokies are going to fight to keep their heads above water the first couple of weeks. Given the Hokies' 5-7 record last year, I'll believe in the latter.
